Tom C. Palangio Wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award!

President and primary consultant of explosives consulting firm Topex Inc., and President of WipWare Inc., Tom C. Palangio was honoured for his achievements as a successful business person and entrepreneur. The 2003 Northern Ontario Business Awards were held on Thursday, October 9th, in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Provincial Award for Leadership

As president of TOPEX Inc., Tom Palangio has introduced mining technology to a global audience through a network of distributors and agents in 19 countries. Tom has demonstrated his commitment to promoting Northern SMEs in the global market through his position on the boards of many professional organizations, his participation in Ontario Mineral Industry Cluster Council and his involvement with trade delegations to and from South American countries.
